The Greg LaChapelle Collection is now offering antique tribal arts from Africa, Asia, and the Americas including sculptures, masks, textiles, ceramics, ornament and interior design elements.

Greg LaChapelle was an innovative artist, inspiring landscape designer and an avid tribal art collector. While exploring Mexico as a young man, Greg began collecting tribal and folk art.

Greg continued his own artistic endeavors and was recorgnized for his design of the tidal pools at Disneyland, and other large natural water works in Florida, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Busch Gardens in Los Angeles.

Enchanted by New Mexico and the traditional arts of the Pueblos, he began collecting pottery and discovered the talented Navajo artist, Charlie Willeto. Inspired by Charlie's prolific outsider-like sculptures, Greg co-authored a book, "Collective Willeto: The Visionary Carvings of a Navajo Artist".

Greg eventually settled in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he continued his voracious collecting of tribal art.

Greg passed away and his family is offering his ambitious ethnographic collection for sale. This website is meant to give you an idea of what is available directly from the estate and through dealers in Santa Fe.
